Sometimes you think the day's over.
Sometimes you think it's all been done.
Sometimes you think you've seen it all.
Then, in a second, the world changes.
While I was living in Hong Kong (yes, I bring that up in every conversation) I began writing a fairly ridiculous, completely unplanned novel on this site. It will almost definitely never be completed.
After that I spent a year at university. Then I realised that I'm rubbish at being a student and left. Now I'm doing some freelance work and trying to find an actual job where I write things all day long and get paid for it.
I'm haunted by the idea that I'll never be able to do anything for more than a year at a time. This is simultaneously terrifying and reassuring
In the meantime I have my two blogs to keep me writing. One (Blogs, Stories, Procrastination) is full of odd little articles, poems, games and stories. Its existence is fuelled by my boredom.
The other (Shame About the Video) analyses music videos in the hope of decifering what the hell they are actually about. It is not updated nearly as regularly as I would like.
As writer, editor and only reader of both blogs I reserve the right to change, delete or move any posts or to completely stop blogging at any time I want.
And yes, in that picture I am wearing women's clothes.
